Loft Design Studio 42 sq. M. m

Loft Design Studio 42 sq. M. m. made for a young and active woman, loving travel and active lifestyle. The kitchen is combined with the living room in a large and bright room with a balcony. The sleeping area is separated from the common space by sliding doors. To get a modern interior, designers had to resort to large-scale redevelopment.

Additional zoning was carried out due to the contrasting color of the floor covering, as well as with the help of a specially constructed podium. The wall on which the windows are located has been cleared of layers of plaster to the brick. It was decided not to hide it, but, on the contrary, to turn it into the main element of the decor, emphasizing the chosen style. The brick wall was painted white, and the seams and surface defects were darkened.

Kitchen-living room

In the kitchen area, a red fridge in the style of the fifties of the last century was a bright decorative accent. The wall at the working surface, as well as the external wall of the bathroom adjacent to it, was covered with Tikkurila Blackboard special paint - it turns any surface into a drawing board with chalk.

Brick wall in the apartment - the main element that defines the style. The pipe running along its top is also painted white and fits perfectly with the interior style. The working surface has the shape of the letter G, its long part is located along the blank wall and has a width of 60 cm, shorter - along the window, it is 20 cm narrower. On the long part of the worktop - the oven and the hob, on the short - the sink. For the walls picked up light paint Little Greene French gray pale.

Above the doorway leading to the bedroom will be placed a screen that can be pulled out to watch a movie. Guests can stay on a cozy white sofa, ottomans or at the table. You can also stay on the step-catwalk. The overall style of the loft in the kitchen-living room and in the bedroom is determined by the brick wall of the apartment, which has been turned into a real art object by the efforts of designers.

Bedroom

The bedroom area is raised to the podium and is additionally separated from the living room by sliding doors. The wall behind the headboard is covered with wallpaper with drawings depicting owls: Abigail Edwards. Wallpapers are in the Owls of the British Isles collection.

Entrance hall

Since the apartment is located on the fifth floor, but the fifth floor is the first one built from after the war. Under the floor - a technical room of one and a half meters height, which is not used at all - before it was under the roof. Part of this room designers decided to use for storing large and seasonal items - luggage, snowboards. In the tile floor of the entrance area made the hatch, behind which arranged the shelves.

Bathroom

Inside the bathroom, tiles laid out a wet area, and the remaining walls were painted with paint with high waterproof properties. Part of the floor is covered with tiles, and the part closer to the wash zone is wood. A custom-made cabinet was placed under the sink, where the washing machine was hidden. In the niche above the tabletop you can store towels, bathrobes and necessary cosmetics.
