Design apartment for a bachelor in loft style

The loft-style apartment is located in a house built in the 50s of the last century. Its owner is a young man with no family, but having many friends. He and his friends love music, and love to spend time together, so the designers were given the task: to find a place for a good audio system, a DJ console, and also for storing a large number of vinyl records. In addition, it is necessary to provide a place for books, and think about where to store two bicycles.

To solve these problems, the layout of the apartment was changed. The entrance hall was enlarged so that the “bicycle” closet could fit in it, the kitchen was connected to the living room, and the bedroom was allocated to a separate room, and a dressing room was placed in it.

The design of the apartment for a bachelor is designed in a simple style. His "masculine character" is manifested in the geometrical volumes of the volumes, and in the muted, but at the same time, saturated colors. Massive cornices on the ceiling, decorated with ornaments, give the interior a classic thoroughness. Plinths and door leafs are painted in dark blue.

Living room-kitchen

In the center of the hallway - the door leading into the combined space of the kitchen and living room. On the right side of the entrance near the wall is the DJ console, this wall is covered with dark blue geometric wallpaper Cole & Son Labyrinth. The rest of the walls are bright, calm, the exterior is decorated with brick and painted in white paint.

The zoning of the space in the main room of the apartment in the loft style is carried out with the help of a large leather sofa of brown-red color, it separates the living room from the kitchen.

The DJ table is made according to the designers' sketches; panels covered with wooden veneer of a darker shade than the floor covering are fixed on a black metal frame. The bright red neon inscription on the wall behind the console serves as a decorative accent.

On the left side of the door there are bookshelves on the wall, the largest one runs along the entire wall almost under the ceiling. In addition, books can be placed in the open shelves under the TV panel in the living room area.

The kitchen area is strict and concise. The bottom row of cabinets is black, the top one is dark cherry. The massive oak table top softens the contrast. The window sill is made of the same material as the tabletop and can be used as an additional work surface.

The dining group consists of a round white table on one bronze "leg", around which industrial Loft Art Manufacture stools are placed and two chairs with armrests made from American walnut Kennedy.

Bedroom

The door to the bedroom consists of two canvases, which are moved apart, retracting into a pencil case hidden in the wall. The window with the window sill was removed, instead of it there were swinging open glass doors with a height from floor to ceiling.

In the design of the apartment for the bachelor used items made to order, and, in particular, the bed - with a high headboard, covered with leather. The wall behind the headboard is covered with beige Cole & Son Labyrinth wallpaper, the rest are painted with light beige Farrow & Ball paint Cornforth White No.228.

The outer wall is similar to the wall in the living room - lined with brick and painted white. Color accents are added with the help of textiles - first of all, these are pillows, bright yellow upholstery of the chair, as well as burgundy carpet with a pattern. Swing doors lead to the balcony, where a recreation area is organized.

Entrance hall

The entrance area is made in a brutal style: concrete on the walls instead of soft wallpaper, lamps in the style of industrial, metal handles on veneered double doors.

A bright and unusual decorative ornament was a hexagonal floor tile of two classic colors - black and white. She laid out intricate pattern that does not end in the entrance area, and goes to the floor and the walls of the bathroom. All other floors in the apartment are finished with honey-colored flooring - Amber Wood.

Bathroom

This is the brightest apartment in the loft style. The door inside is painted in a juicy red color, echoing in tone with the carpet on the bedroom floor and the upper tier of the kitchen area cabinets. Dark saturated shades of turquoise and ocher are on the walls: Farrow & Ball Stiffkey blue No.281 and Farrow & Ball Tanners Brown No.255.

General lighting is provided by Centrsvet built-in spots, and loft-style luminaires suspended from a false pipe in the washroom area add to the comfort of the room. The classic-style ceiling cornice is painted with the same paint as the walls.
